Calling the Shots

two-shot-glasses-on-barButtery nipple.  Kamikaze.  Peppermint patty.  Taking shots of  liquor is a popular American sport.  Normally, it is for enjoyment purposes–for the taste, for the buzz.  However, the following shots are a little different from the norm.  Creative might not be the right word…

Liquid Steak:  Love meat?  No knives needed.

  • 1.5 oz. Bacardi 151
  • Worcestershire Sauce

Pour the Bacardi into a shot glass and add a drizzle of Worcestershire sauce to the top.  Down it.

New Jersey Turnpike:  I’d rather be stuck in traffic.

  • 1 Bar Mat
  • 1 Bar Rag

Squeeze the bar rag into a shot glass and top it with whatever is in the bar mat.  Bottom’s up.

Smoker’s Cough:  It’s meant to be coughed up for a reason…

  • 1.5 oz. Jagermeister
  • 1 dollop of warm mayonnaise

Pour the Jagermeister into a shot glass and plop the mayo on top.  Mmm-mmm good.

Cement Mixer:  It just doesn’t seem to mix well at all…

  • 3/4 oz. Bailey’s Irish Creme
  • 3/4 oz. Lime Juice

Combine in a shot glass, swish it around in your mouth, and shoot it down.  Or at least try to.
